The four families of sources

Each with its own strengths and limits.

  • Public web pages

Company websites, press pages and public professional profiles — pages anyone can read without logging in.

  • Public professional profiles

Profiles that people publish about their career: current role, employer, past positions, location.

  • Professional directories

Published business and telephone directories: the listed entries, as published.

  • Business-data providers

Providers of business contact data, used under contract and tagged as such in results.

  • Technical verification data

Domain mail records and telephone numbering plans, used to verify contact details without contacting anyone.

Never a source

What the service does not use

Some information is deliberately out of reach, whatever the purpose of the search.

  • Private accounts and anything behind a login
  • Unlisted numbers and operator records
  • Location data, financial, health or other sensitive data
Transparency

Source type on every data point

Knowing where an item came from lets you judge its reliability, check the original and answer the person if they ask how you found them.

  • Public page, professional profile, directory or data provider
  • Verification status shown separately
  • Original source checkable by you

What each source family typically provides

And the type of information you should not expect from it.

Professional profiles Role, employer, career history, location Private life, opinions, personal contact details

Questions

Questions about sources

See all questions
Do you buy consumer data?

No. Providers supply business contact data; consumer and sensitive data are not sourced.

Do you scrape social networks?

Only public pages accessible without a login are read, and only links are returned. No content behind authentication is accessed.

Can I see the exact source of a result?

The source type is shown for every item, so you can go back to the original page when it is public.

Ready to work with cleaner contact data?

Start with the trial, then keep the subscription only if it earns its place in your toolkit. Cancelling takes one step.

Prices are shown in euros including VAT. The subscription renews monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
